EPC, Inc., a subsidiary of CSI Leasing, Inc. and one of the world’s largest IT asset disposition (ITAD) providers, has recently announced two officer promotions.

Ted Coffey, chief operating officer (COO). Previously vice president of production, Ted has been an integral part of EPC for 21 years, bringing extensive experience in the ITAD industry. Since joining EPC in 2003, Ted has held various key positions, including roles in inventory, facility management, processing, recycling and production. Most recently, he served as vice president of production and managed EPC’s policies and procedures across all U.S. facilities. In his new role as COO, Ted will oversee the planning and direction of all of EPC’s operational procedures, objectives and initiatives throughout the U.S. He will also collaborate closely with EPC’s sister companies worldwide to ensure processes are consistent and that global customers enjoy a seamless EPC experience. Based in St. Charles, Mo., Ted’s background, experience and leadership continue to drive EPC’s success.

EPC’s former COO, Lee Gallagher, has retired after 18 years of service to EPC.

Joe Prenger, senior vice president, sales. Previously vice president, Joe will continue to manage EPC’s ITAD and product sales teams throughout the U.S., a role he has held since 2021. He specializes in developing highly-customized ITAD solutions for domestic and international customers that include logistics, certified data sanitization, remarketing and environmentally-friendly recycling. Throughout his 18-year tenure with EPC, Joe has used his technical knowledge to create new sales offerings that help reduce the workload of already stressed IT departments, keeping EPC at the cutting edge of the ITAD market. Joe joined EPC in 2006 in the online sales department and helped develop EPC’s refurbishment team, which he ran for 14 years prior to transitioning into sales. In addition, Joe redesigned and remodeled EPC’s U.S. retail showroom and its fleet of Data Destruction and Recycling Vehicles (DDRVs). He is based in St. Charles, Mo.

“Ted and Joe are integral to EPC’s success in very different but complementary ways. With a combined 39 years of experience, they are a wealth of knowledge,” said Pat Laughlin, EPC’s president and CEO. “Between Ted’s operational experience and Joe’s passion for customer satisfaction, their vision for EPC will continue to position us as a leader in the industry both domestically and on a global scale.”
