EPC, Inc., a subsidiary of CSI Leasing, Inc. and one of the world’s largest IT asset disposition (ITAD) providers, has recently expanded operations in South America by opening a facility in Bogotá, Colombia. EPC Colombia S.A.S. (EPC Colombia) joins the company’s established Latin American operations in Costa Rica, Mexico and Peru. The facility is more than 8,000 square feet and has the capacity to process 2,000 assets per month. Currently, EPC Colombia has five ITAD specialists on staff with plans to grow as volume increases. This expansion allows EPC to further extend its premium ITAD services throughout South America.
EPC Andina (consisting of EPC facilities in Colombia and Peru) will be managed by Ivan Herrera, who has been overseeing ITAD services and remarketing for CSI Leasing subsidiaries throughout the Andean Region for nearly 8 years. Ivan has more than 20 years of experience in the IT lifecycle management industry.
“Having a facility in Colombia will allow us to provide CSI’s customers with a consistent end-of-lease experience, along with comprehensive ITAD services, including standardized equipment processing, reporting, data sanitization and proper recycling,” said Ivan Herrera, Andean region services and remarketing manager. “Our main goal is to accelerate CSI’s growth in the Andean region, further solidifying both CSI and EPC’s vast global footprint.”
